Strawberries And Cream Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 | Cream cheese - softened | |
| 1/3 cup | 65g / 2.3oz | Sugar |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Almond extract |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Whipped cream |
| 4 cups | 948ml | Strawberries |
| 1/2 cup | 55g / 1.9oz | Chocolate chips - semi-sweet |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Shortening |
| 10 | Pastry shells |
In large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually add sugar and almond extract; blend well. Fold in whipped cream. Spoon into cooled, baked pie shell (or individual shells).
Arrange strawberries, points up, over filling. Refrigerate. In small saucepan over low heat, melt chips and shortening, stirring constantly until smooth. Drizzle over strawberries and filling. Refrigerate until set.
Store in refrigerator.
