2 | Peach halves - syrup reserved | |
1 1/3 cups | 263g / 9.3oz | Sugar |
1 cup | 237ml | Vinegar |
1 | Cinnamon | |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Whole cloves |
Drain 2 (29 oz) cans of peach halves, reserving syrup. Combine peach syrup, 1 1/3 c. sugar, 1 c. vinegar, 1 stick cinnamon, and 2 tsp. whole cloves in saucepan. Bring mixture to boil.
Simmer for 10 minutes. Pour hot syrup over peaches and let cool. Chill before serving.
Store in refrigerator.
Yield: 4 pints.
