Soft Shortbread Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Butter - softened |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Flour |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Cornstarch |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Sugar - icing |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
Preheat oven to 325F.
Beat butter and vanilla until foamy. Add dry ingredients and blend. Do not over-stir.
Spoon onto an ungreased pan.
Bake at 325F. until done (10-20 minutes depending on thickness)
NOTES:
My mother makes this; she got the recipe from a friend.
