I've concocted a "formula" for sweet tea for those (like me) who can't have much sugar or caffeine. It tastes pretty nearly as good as the real thing:
You need a gallon container, 10 tea bags, and 2 little tubs of Crystal Lite Iced Tea flavor (each little tub makes 1/2 gallon). Brew the tea bags in a teapot with about 1 quart of boiling water. Set aside to cool a bit. Make up the Crystal Lite Iced Tea in the gallon container, but use only 1/2 gallon of cold water. When the real tea is cooled off, add it to the Crystal Lite, and fill the gallon container with cold water and ice cubes. The resulting brew has a good strong tea flavor with just the right amount of sweetener and lemon.
