Sauce Pan Chocolate Chip Coconut Bars

Recipe Ingredients

1/2 cup 99g / 3.5ozMargarine - oleo
1/3 cup 65g / 2.3ozSugar
1/3 cup 53g / 1.9ozBrown sugar
2 tablespoons 30mlWater
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozFlour
1 1/4 teaspoons 6.3mlBaking powder
1 teaspoon 5mlEgg (large)
1 teaspoon 5mlVanilla
1/2 cup 73g / 2.6ozWalnuts - chopped
1/2 cup 46g / 1.6ozShredded coconut - (angle flake)
6 oz 170gChocolate chips

Recipe Instructions

1. Rub 8 or 9 inch square pan with some margarine. 2. Melt margarine in pan, remove from heat, 3 Add sugar, water and blend. 4. Stir in flour, baking powder, egg, vanilla and beat well. 5. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.

Bake at 350F for 30 minutes. DO NOT OVER BAKE. Cool in pan and cut.
