Pineapple Crumble Recipe - Cooking Index

1 | Unsweetened pineapple - - crushed and | |
Drained | ||
2 | Pears - peeled, cored and (medium) diced | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla extract |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cinnamon |
1 | Nutmeg | |
Crumb Topping | ||
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Soy or safflower margarine |
2/3 cup | 157ml | Matzo meal |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Ground walnuts |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Light brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cinnamon |
Preheat oven to 350F.
Combine filling ingredients in a mixing bowl and pat into a 9-inch square baking pan.
Melt margarine in a skillet and remove from heat.
Stir in the remaining topping ingredients till evenly coated with the margarine.
Sprinkle evenly over the top of the pineapple mixture. Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
