Recipe Ingredients

1   Pear - unpeeled, cored and minced
1   Apple - unpeeled, cored and minced
1 cup 146g / 5.1ozWalnuts - finely chopped
1 cup 93g / 3.3ozAlmonds - finely chopped
1 cup 146g / 5.1ozHazelnuts - finely chopped
1 cup 146g / 5.1ozPistachio nuts - finely chopped
1 cup 146g / 5.1ozDates - finely chopped
1 cup 160g / 5.6ozRaisins - finely chopped
2 teaspoons 10mlGround ginger
2 teaspoons 10mlCinnamon
2 tablespoons 30mlApple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon 15mlSweet Passover wine - up to 2

Recipe Instructions

In a large bowl, combine fruits and nuts. Add spices, vinegar and enough wine to bind the mixture. Transfer to a platter and shape into a pyramid. Cover with plastic wrap and chill well.

Note: They must have had BIG seders in Persia!
