Pears With Chocolate Orange Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | Heavy cream |
6 oz | 170g | Semisweet chocolate morsels |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Grated orange peel - * see note |
29 oz | 823g | Bartlett pears - - (1 can), drained |
Vanilla ice cream |
* Note: For a smoother sauce, substitute 2 tablespoons orange-flavored liqueur for the grated orange peel.
Microcook cream in microwave-safe container at High (100%) 45 seconds. Add chocolate morsels and orange peel and stir until smooth. Arrange pear half and ice cream in serving dishes. Drizzle with chocolate sauce.
