Pear-Applesauce With Amaretto Recipe - Cooking Index
3 1/2 cups | 829ml | Cubed peeled granny smith apple |
2 1/2 cups | 592ml | Cubed peeled Bartlett pear |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Water |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Brown sugar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Amaretto |
Combine the first 3 ingredients in a large saucepan; cover and cook over low heat 40 minutes or until very tender. Mash to desired consistency; stir in sugar and amaretto.
Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 3/4 cup).
