Passover Apple Crisp Recipe - Cooking Index
| 5 cups | 1185ml | Granny smith apples - (1-1/2 pounds) (medium) | 
| 1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Sugar | 
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground cinnamon | 
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Lemon juice | 
| Vegetable cooking spray | ||
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Unsalted matzo meal | 
| 1/3 cup | 65g / 2.3oz | Sugar | 
| 1/4 cup | 23g / 0.8oz | Sliced almonds | 
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Margarine - melted | 
| 1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Salt | 
Peel, core, and cut the apples into 1/4-inch slices.
Combine apple slices, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice, and toss gently. Spoon into an 11 x 7-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray; set aside.
Combine the matzo meal, sugar, almonds, margarine, and salt, and stir well. Sprinkle over apple mixture.
Bake at 350F for 1 hour or until browned. Yield: 6 servings (serving size: 1 cup).
