1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Sugar |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Firmly packed brown sugar |
7 tablespoons | 105ml | Margarine |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Vanilla extract |

1 3/4 cups | 109g / 3.8oz | All-purpose flour |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Ground cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
3/4 cup | 120g / 4.2oz | Raisins |

Spread oats in a shallow pan, and bake at 400F for 6 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from pan; set aside.
Cream sugars and margarine at medium speed of an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add vanilla, egg whites, and egg; beat well.
Combine flour and next 4 ingredients; add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Stir in browned oats and raisins. Spread batter evenly into a 15- x 10- x 1-inch jellyroll pan coated with baking spray.
Bake at 350F for 19 minutes. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack.
Yield: 30 bars (serving size: 1 bar).
