Oatmeal Hazelnut Macaroons Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Shortening |
| 1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Brown sugar |
| 1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | White sugar |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Almond extract |
| 1 | Egg | |
| 3/4 cup | 177ml | Ground Oregon hazelnuts |
| 2/3 cup | 41g / 1.4oz | Sifted flour |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Baking soda |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
| 1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Rolled oats |
| 1/2 cup | 46g / 1.6oz | Coconut |
Combine shortening, sugars, almond extract and egg. Beat well. Sift flour, soda and salt.
Add to shortening mixture and mix well. Stir in rolled oats, coconut and ground hazelnuts.
Drop onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350F for 12 minutes, or until golden.
