Nutty Cheese Log

Recipe Ingredients

1 tablespoon 15mlButter
1/3 cup 78mlPecans
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlSalt
2 teaspoons 10mlParsley
2 cups 292g / 10ozCheddar cheese - shredded
3 oz 85gCream cheese - softened
2 tablespoons 30mlMilk
1 tablespoon 15mlMustard - Dijon
1 teaspoon 5mlWorcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlPepper sauce

Recipe Instructions

In skillet, melt butter and add pecans. Saute over low heat until lightly browned.

Cool and chop fine. Stir in salt and parsley. Set aside.

In small bowl, beat cream cheese and cheddar cheese. Add milk, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and pepper sauce to cheeses.

Chill until firm for one hour. Roll cheese into log using wax paper. Roll in nut mixture. Wrap airtight and chill overnight.

Makes a 7 wine of your choice would be a festive touch.
