4 1/2 cups | 281g / 9.9oz | Flour - (all purpose) |
1 1/2 cups | 297g / 10oz | Sugar |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Baking soda |
1 1/2 cups | 240g / 8.5oz | Brown sugar - (firmly packed) |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Salt |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Vanilla extract |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Butter - (2 sticks softened) |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Shortening |
4 | Eggs | |
1 | Nestle chocolate chips 12 oz |
Preheat oven to 375F.
In small bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt. In large bowl combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract .
Beat in eggs.
Gradually add flour mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips Semi-sweet.
Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375F for 10 to 14 minutes..
Makes about 5 dozen 2 1/4 cookies.
