1/2 cup | 118ml | Molasses |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Baking soda |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking powder |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ginger |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Whole wheat flour |
1 1/2 cups | 93g / 3.3oz | All-purpose flour |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Oat bran |
1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Raisins |
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
In a large bowl, cream sugar, margarine, and egg whites. Add molasses, baking soda, baking powder, and ginger. Mix well. Stir in flour and oat bran. Fold in raisins. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased 11- by 15-inch cookie sheet with sides. Pat down to cover entire plan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Cut into 2- by 2-inch squares and cool in pan.
