3/4 cup | 148g / 5.2oz | Margarine - melted |
1 1/2 cups | 297g / 10oz | Sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Vanilla flavoring |
3/4 cup | 46g / 1.6oz | All-purpose flour - unsifted |
1/2 cup | 55g / 1.9oz | Hershey's cocoa |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
6 | Egg whites |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine margarine, sugar, and vanilla. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Add to margarine mixture. Mix well. Mix egg whites until stiff; fold into mixture until well blended. Spread into 8- by 8-inch baking pan sprayed with vegetable oil spray. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until brownie begins to pull away from edge of pan. Cool and cut into 2- by 2-inch squares.
