Cottage Cheese Muffins Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Margarine - melted |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Sugar |
6 | Egg whites | |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | All-purpose flour |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Baking powder |
12 oz | 340g | Cottage cheese, low-fat |
Melt margarine and add to sugar in mixer. In another bowl, beat egg whites until stiff. Add 1/3 of egg whites to margarine-sugar mixture. To this add flour and baking powder, mixing until smooth. Fold in remainder of egg whites and cottage cheese.
Fill individual lined mufffin pans 2/3 full with batter. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 400 degrees until golden brown.
