Lemon Gelati Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Sugar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Grated lemon rind |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Salt |
2/3 cup | 157ml | Fresh lemon juice |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Plain nonfat yogurt |
Fresh mint sprigs - (optional) |
Combine the first 4 ingredients in a bowl; stir until sugar dissolves. Add yogurt; stir well.
Pour mixture into the freezer can of an ice-cream freezer, and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
Yield: 5 servings (serving size: 1/2 cup).
