Joe's Eggnog

Recipe Ingredients

60   Eggs - separated
4 cups 948mlCognac or bourbon
2 cups 396g / 13ozSugar - or to taste
1 cup 237mlDark rum
1 teaspoon 5mlSalt
1 teaspoon 5mlVanilla
4 cups 948mlHeavy cream - whipped
  Nutmeg

Recipe Instructions

Beat the egg yolks until light.

Beating constantly, slowly add the cognac or bourbon.

Dissolve the sugar in the rum and stir into egg yolk mixture.

Add the salt and vanilla.

Stir in the whipped cream. Beat the egg whites until stiff but not dry and fold in.

Sprinkle with nutmeg.
