Applesauce Cake Recipe - Cooking Index
1 can | Applesauce - (16 oz) | |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Margarine |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Baking soda |
1 1/2 cups | 297g / 10oz | Sugar |
2 1/2 cups | 156g / 5.5oz | Flour |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground cloves |
1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Raisins |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Flour |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Heat applesauce. Add margarine, baking soda, and sugar. Mix well. In another bowl sift flour and spices together. Add to the applesuace mixture and mix. Sprinkle raisins with flour and stir into mixture.
Bake in greased and floured tube pan 40 to 50 minutes, or put in lightly greased microwave-safe pan and cook at 100% power for 8 minutes, turning 1/4 turn at 2-minute intervals.
