Hot Spiced Blueberry Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Blueberries |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Sugar |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Nutmeg |
An American recipe of World War II vintage, this simple sauce is excellent on pancakes or served over top-quality ice cream.
Combine ingredients in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve hot.
Makes 1 1/4 cups.
