Hot Fudge Pudding With Sauce

Recipe Ingredients

		Batter
1 cup	62g / 2.2oz	Flour
1/3 cup	36g / 1.3oz	Cocoa
3/4 cup	148g / 5.2oz	Sugar
2 teaspoons	10ml	Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon	2.5ml	Salt
1/4 cup	49g / 1.7oz	Shortening
1		Egg
2/3 cup	157ml	Milk
		Sauce
3/4 cup	148g / 5.2oz	Sugar
1/4 cup	27g / 1oz	Cocoa
2 tablespoons	30ml	Water
2 cups	474ml	Water - boiling

Recipe Instructions

Put dry ingredients in a bowl and cut in shortening or margarine.

Add egg and milk. Stir until blended.

Put batter in a greased 8" pan.

Blend sauce ingredients and pour gently over batter.

Bake at 350F for 35-40 minutes. Serve with milk or cream.
