Almond Poppy Seed Bread Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/4 cups | 296ml | Buttermilk |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Almond extract |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Honey |
1/3 teaspoon | 1.7ml | Salt |
1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Poppy Seeds |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Baking soda |
1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Gluten (Optional) |
3 1/3 cups | 208g / 7.3oz | Whole wheat flour |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Active dry yeast |
1/2 cup | 46g / 1.6oz | Chopped Almonds |
2 1/4 teaspoons | 11ml | Active dry yeast |
Put the ingredients into the bread machine tin in the order suggested by your bread machine instructions (usually liquid first, then flour, then yeast). Add almonds at the beep. Use basic bread cycle setting - medium crust setting.
