Hard Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Softened butter |
| 1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Confectioner's sugar - sifted |
| 3 teaspoons | 15ml | Brandy |
For hard sauce (a.k.a. brandy butter) whip together 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 cup sifted confectioner's sugar, the finer the better, and 2-3 tsp. brandy.
You can substitute vanilla or rum for the brandy if you prefer.
