1 oz 28gUnsweetened chocolate
1 cup 198g / 7ozSugar
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozFlour
1 teaspoon 5mlBaking powder
1 teaspoon 5mlVanilla
2   Eggs
1/2 cup 73g / 2.6ozChopped nuts - (opt)
  Filling
6 oz 170gCream cheese
1/2 cup 99g / 3.5ozSugar
2 tablespoons 30mlFlour
1/4 cup 49g / 1.7ozMargarine - softened
1   Egg
1 teaspoon 5mlVanilla
6 oz 170gSemi-sweet chocolate chips
2 cups 474mlMini-marshmallows
  Frosting
1/4 cup 49g / 1.7ozMargarine
1 oz 28gUnsweetened chocolate
1/4 cup 59mlMilk
1 lb 454g / 16ozPowdered sugar
1 teaspoon 5mlVanilla
2 oz 56gCream cheese

Recipe Instructions

Preheat oven to 350oF.

*** Base ***

Grease and flour a 9x13 pan. In a large pan, melt the margarine and chocolate. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Spread in the pan.

*** Filling ***

In a small bowl combine the cream cheese with remaining ingredients except for the chips. Blend until smooth and fluffy. Spread over chocolate mixture and sprinkle with chips. Bake 25-35 minutes and test with a toothpick. Remove, sprinkle with marshmallows and bake 2 minutes more.

*** Frosting ***

In a small pan, melt the margarine, chocolate and milk. Beat in cream cheese and powdered sugar with an electric mixer until smooth. Immediately pour over marshmallow layer and swirl together.

Cut into squares.
