Fresh Fig Clafouti

Recipe Ingredients

1 1/2 cups 219g / 7.7ozChopped fresh figs - (3/4 pounds)
  Vegetable cooking spray
1 cup 160g / 5.6ozFirmly packed brown sugar
6 tablespoons 90mlAll-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlSalt
1 1/2 cups 355mlPlain low-fat yogurt
3/4 cup 177ml1% low-fat milk
1 1/2 tablespoons 22mlBrandy
5   Egg whites
1 teaspoon 5mlPowdered sugar

Recipe Instructions

Place figs in a 2-quart baking dish coated with cooking spray; set aside.

Combine brown sugar and the next 6 ingredients in container of an electric blender; cover and process until smooth.

Pour mixture over figs.

Bake at 375F for 40 minutes. Cover with aluminum foil; bake an additional 15 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes; sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Yield: 10 servings (serving size: 1/2 cup).
