Espresso Spread Recipe - Cooking Index
4 oz | 113g | Cream cheese - softened |
1 oz | 28g | Semisweet chocolate - grated |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sugar |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Vanilla |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Instant espresso powder |
Place cheese, chocolate, sugar, vanilla, and espresso in container of food processor fitted with steel blade; process 30 seconds or until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides of container with rubber scraper, if necessary.
Remove spread to a small bowl. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate. To serve, let stand 10 minutes at room temperature to soften.
Makes approximately 1 1/2 cups.
