Double-Chocolate Satin Pudding Recipe - Cooking Index
1/3 cup | 65g / 2.3oz | Sugar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Cornstarch |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Unsweetened cocoa |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Instant espresso granules |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Salt |
1 3/4 cups | 414ml | 2% low-fat milk |
1 | Semisweet chocolate - (1-ounce) chopped | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla extract |
Combine first 5 ingredients in a saucepan; stir well.
Gradually add milk, stirring with a whisk.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Add chocolate; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Pour into a bowl; cover and chill 2 hours.
Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1/2 cup).
