Date-Pineapple Pudding

Recipe Ingredients

1 cup 62g / 2.2ozFlour
1 cup 198g / 7ozSugar
1 teaspoon 5mlBaking powder
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlSalt
1 cup 146g / 5.1ozDates - chopped
1 cup 146g / 5.1ozCrushed pineapple
1/4 cup 59mlMilk
2 cups 474mlWater
1 cup 160g / 5.6ozPacked brown sugar
1 tablespoon 15mlMargarine

Recipe Instructions

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together in large bowl. Stir in dates, pineapple and milk. Pour into greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.

Combine water, brown sugar and margarine in saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Pour over pudding; do not mix.

Bake in preheated 350F oven for 35 minutes or until done.
