Crispy Crunch Bars Recipe - Cooking Index
| 3 cups | 187g / 6.6oz | Rolled oats - large flake |
| 1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Sugar |
| 2/3 cup | 106g / 3.7oz | Brown sugar |
| 1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Butter |
| 6 oz | 170g | Chocolate chips |
| 3 3/8 cups | 668g / 23oz | Peanut butter |
Melt butter, add both sugars and oats. Press into an ungreased 9x13 pan.
Bake 12-14 minutes in a preheated 350F oven, or until bubbly and edges are slightly brown. Cool, then place in fridge for a short while.
Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter together in double boiler, and spread on the fully cooled base.
Refrigerate until firm. Cut into squares when fully cool.
NOTES : Can also be a great no-bake square...I found out by happy mistake. ;>
