Jack's Turkey Burger

Recipe Ingredients

2 lbs 908g / 32ozMinced raw turkey thigh meat, no skin
3 tablespoons 45mlMinced parsley
2 tablespoons 30mlDry bread crumbs
1 tablespoon 15mlChopped fresh thyme
1 tablespoon 15mlDry Rub # 1 - see * Note
1 tablespoon 15mlMinced onions
6   Hamburger rolls

Recipe Instructions

* Note: See the "Dry Rub # 1" recipe which is included in this collection.

Prepare a wood or charcoal fire and let it burn down to embers.

In a large mixing bowl combine turkey meat with next 5 ingredients. Mix thoroughly and chill in refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

When ready to grill, form into large patties and grill for 5 minutes on each side or until done. Make sure turkey mixture is cold before grilling. Serve with your choice of condiments.

This recipe yields 6 turkey burgers.
