Jack's Turkey Burger Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Minced raw turkey thigh meat, no skin |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Minced parsley |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Dry bread crumbs |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped fresh thyme |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dry Rub # 1 - see * Note |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Minced onions |
6 | Hamburger rolls |
* Note: See the "Dry Rub # 1" recipe which is included in this collection.
Prepare a wood or charcoal fire and let it burn down to embers.
In a large mixing bowl combine turkey meat with next 5 ingredients. Mix thoroughly and chill in refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
When ready to grill, form into large patties and grill for 5 minutes on each side or until done. Make sure turkey mixture is cold before grilling. Serve with your choice of condiments.
This recipe yields 6 turkey burgers.
