Clove And Honey-Preserved Oranges Recipe - Cooking Index
3/4 cup | 177ml | Honey |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Orange juice |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Lemon juice |
2 | Navel oranges - washed, unpeeled | |
4 | Whole cloves | |
1 | Cinnamon stick |
Whisk together honey, orange juice and lemon juice in medium saucepan until well blended.
Cut oranges in half lengthwise; cut each half into 1/8- to 1/4-inch-thick slices. Stir into honey mixture.
Add cloves and cinnamon stick. Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat.
Reduce heat to low; simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until oranges are tender.
Remove from heat; cool. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
