Clafouti With Apples

Recipe Ingredients

1 tablespoon 15mlMargarine
3 cups 711mlThinly sliced peeled Rome apple
6 tablespoons 90mlNonfat sour cream
1/3 cup 65g / 2.3ozSugar
2 tablespoons 30mlGrand Marnier or
  Other orange -flavored liqueur
2   Eggs
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlGround cinnamon

Recipe Instructions

Place margarine in a 9-inch glass pie plate. Microwave at HIGH 30 seconds or until margarine melts. Arrange apple slices in a circular pattern in pie plate; microwave at HIGH 2 minutes.

Combine sour cream, sugar, liqueur, and eggs; stir with a wire whisk until blended. Pour mixture over apples. Microwave at MEDIUM (50% power) 10 minutes or until set, rotating pie plate a quarter-turn every 3 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes; sprinkle with cinnamon.

Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 wedge).
