Chocolate Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
3/4 cup | 148g / 5.2oz | Sugar |
2/3 cup | 157ml | Water |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Light or dark corn syrup |
1/3 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Cocoa |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla extract |
In medium saucepan, stir together sugar, water and corn syrup.
Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture boils; boil 1 minute.
Remove from heat; stir in cocoa and vanilla. Cool slightly.
Makes about 1 cup sauce.
