Grilled Plantains With Spicy Brown Sugar Glaze Recipe - Cooking Index
6 | Ripe plantains - peeled and sliced | |
On the bias 1/8-inch thick | ||
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Olive oil - for brushing |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Brown sugar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Honey |
1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Chipotle puree |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped cilantro |
Prepare grill.
Brush plantains with olive oil and grill for 2 minutes on both sides.
Combine all remaining ingredients in a bowl well. Brush on plantains. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
