Beige Brownies Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Egg | |
1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Brown sugar - packed |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Vanilla |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Flour |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Walnuts - chopped (optional) |
Oil an 8-inch square pan. Stir together egg, sugar and vanilla. Add dry ingredients, then add walnuts.
Spread in pan, and bake at 350F for about 20 minutes; centers will be soft.
Cool before cutting into 2-inch squares. Makes 16 bars
