Barbequed Pecans Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter or margarine |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Ketchup |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Hot sauce |
4 cups | 584g / 20oz | Pecan halves |
Salt to taste |
Melt butter in a Dutch oven. Remove butter from heat; add Worcestershire sauce, catsup, and hot sauce, stirring well. Add pecan halves to mixture, stirring to coat.
Spread pecans evenly in a 15"x10"x1" jellyroll pan. Bake at 350^ for 13 to 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Place pecans on paper towels; sprinkle slightly with salt, and cool completely.
Yield: 4 cups
