Bananas Foster - De Carle Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter |
| 1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Brown sugar |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dark rum |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Crème de banana |
| 3 tablespoons | 45ml | Bananas - split and sliced (large) |
| Vanilla ice cream | ||
| 1 | Cinnamon |
In a wide skillet, melt butter and sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture has blended to caramel.
Add liquors and ignite. (Use caution!) Heat bananas in mixture for 2 minutes and serve over ice cream. Sprinkle w a dash of cinnamon.
