Apricot-Almond Torte Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Super moist golden vanilla cake mix | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Almond extract |
21 oz | 596g | Apricot pie filling |
Heat oven to 350F. Grease and flour 2 round pans, 8 or 9 1/2 inches.
Prepare cake mix as directed on package, except beat in almond extract. Pour into pans. Bake and cool as directed. Split cake horizontally to make 4 layers. Place bottom layer on plate, cut side up. Spread 1/4 apricot filling over top. Top with another layer, cut side down. Repeat with remaining pie filling and cake layers.
