Apple Pumpkin Desserts Recipe - Cooking Index
1 can | Apple filling or topping - (21-ounce) | |
1 | Pumpkin - (about 2 cups) | |
1 can | Sweetened condensed milk* | |
2 | Eggs | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground nutmeg |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Gingersnap crumbs - (about 18 cookies) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Margarine or butter - melted |
Heat oven to 400F. Spoon apple filling into 8 to 10 custard cups. In large mixer bowl, beat pumpkin, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt; spoon over apple filling. Combine crumbs and margarine. Sprinkle over pumpkin. Place cups on 15x 10-inch baking pan. Bake 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350F; bake 15 minutes or until set. Cool. Refrigerate leftovers.
like Eagle Brand, do not use evaporated milk
