Apple Nut Crunch Recipe - Cooking Index

| 3/4 cup | 148g / 5.2oz | Sugar |
| 1/3 cup | 20g / 0.7oz | All-purpose flour |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Baking powder |
| 1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Ground cinnamon |
| 1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Apple - chopped/peeled |
| 1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Chopped walnuts |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla extract |
| 2 1/4 cups | 533ml | Ice cream |
In a mixing bowl, beat the egg. Combine sugar, flour, baking powder and cinnamon; add to egg and beat until smooth. Fold in apple, nuts and vanilla. Spoon into a greased 8" square baking pan. Bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool. Serve with ice cream.
