Apple Crisp With Macadamia Nuts

Recipe Ingredients

1/4 cup 15g / 0.5ozAll-purpose flour
1/4 cup 49g / 1.7ozSugar
1/4 cup 40g / 1.4ozFirmly packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons 30mlChopped macadamia nuts
1/8 teaspoon 0.6mlGround cinnamon
2 1/2 tablespoons 37mlChilled stick margarine cut into small pieces
5 cups 1185mlThinly sliced peeled rome apple
  Vegetable cooking spray
2 tablespoons 30mlApricot preserves

Recipe Instructions

Combine the first 5 ingredients in a bowl; stir well. Cut in margarine with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal; set aside.

Place apple slices in an 8-inch square baking dish coated with cooking spray; drop apricot preserves by teaspoonfuls onto apple slices, and sprinkle evenly with the flour mixture. Bake at 375F for 35 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
