Adobo Marinade Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Drained canned tomatoes |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Ancho chile powder |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Pasilla chile powder |
1 | Canned chipotle - seeded and diced | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Honey |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dark brown sugar |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Red wine vinegar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cayenne |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Chopped garlic |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Olive oil |
Puree the marinade ingredients in a food processor. This recipe yields about 3 cups of marinade. Great for pork.
