1 | Berry blue jell-o | |
1 | Red jell-o - any flavor (large) | |
4 cups | 948ml | Water - boiling |
2 cups | 474ml | Water - cold |
8 oz | 227g | Cool whip - thawed |
4 cups | 948ml | Angel food cake pound cake, break in |
2 cups | 474ml | Strawberries - sliced |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Blueberries - (opt) |
Dissolve each flavor of Jell-O completely in 2 cups of boiling water in separate bowls. Stir 1 cup of cold water into each bowl. Pour into separate 9x13" pans. Refrigerate at least 3 hours until firm.
Cut into 1/2" cubes. Place blue Jell-O cubes in bottom of clear glass trifle bowl. Top with 1/3 of the Cool Whip. Add cake cubes, then sliced strawberries. Top with another 1/3 Cool Whip. Add the red Jell-O cubes and then the remaining Cool Whip.
Sprinkle blueberries over top if desired.
