"Guardian Angel" Torte Recipe - Cooking Index
1 packet | Chocolate pudding mix | |
1 cup | 237ml | Milk |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Sour cream |
1 | Angel food cake (9 or 10-inch cake) | |
1 cup | 237ml | Heavy cream |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Confectioners' sugar |
Shaved chocolate |
Combine pudding mix and milk; cook until mixture boils. Cool slightly; stir in sour cream.
Chill thoroughly. Split cake in 2 or 3 layers.
Spread chocolate mixture between layers.
Cover top and sides of cake with whipped cream, sweetened with confectioners sugar. Garnish with shaved chocolate.
