1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Walnuts - chopped |
1/4 cup | 40g / 1.4oz | Raisins |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Cinnamon |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Nutmeg |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Lemon zest |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Honey |
Butter or margarine - melted | ||
Soft white bread | ||
Cinnamon sugar |

Preheat oven to 375°. Peel, core, and slice apple. Chop apple and walnuts. Combine chopped ingredients with raisins, spices, lemon zest, and honey. Place a scant teaspoon of apple mixture in the center of bread. Gently fold bread in half, covering the mixture. Using 3" cut-n'seal to cut and seal crescent shaped tarts. Brush the tarts lightly with melted butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake on baking stone for 10 - 12 minutes or until golden brown. Pampered Chef Favorites II.
