Orangeman's Stuffing (for a 6-lb goose) Recipe - Cooking Index
1/3 cup | 20g / 0.7oz | Butter or chicken fat |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped onion |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dried savory |
1 | Bread crumbs | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt - (to 3/4 tspn) |
1 cup | 237ml | Orange slices |
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Melt fat and cook onion in it for a few minutes; soften, do not brown. Add savory, crumbs, salt, and orange, and mix well but lightly. Season with pepper to taste.
