Peppy Chick Pea Dip Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Garbanzo beans - (14 1/2 oz) - drained | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Plain yogurt |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Buttermilk salad dressing |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Seasoned bread crumbs |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Crushed red pepper |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped, pitted ripe olives |
Radishes - thinly sliced | ||
Vegetable dippers | ||
Assorted crackers - (optional) |
In food processor bowl or blender container combine garbanzo beans, yogurt, salad dressing, bread crumbs, lemon juice and red pepper. Cover and process or blend until smooth. Stir in olives. Chill, covered, at least 1 hour.
Garnish with radishes, if desired. Serve with vegetable dippers and assorted crackers.
This recipe yields about 1 2/3 cups.
