French Picnic Dove Recipe - Cooking Index

1 | Potato - sliced | |
1 | Apple - unpeeled, sliced | |
Salt - to taste | ||
Paprika - to taste | ||
Seedless grapes - as needed |
Stuff doves with slices of raw potato and unpeeled apple. Sprinkle heavily with salt and paprika and allow to sit until they reach room temperature. Put into a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes. Remove birds; remove stuffing immediately. Let birds cool for 20 minutes. Stuff cavities with seedless grapes at room temperature. Wrap in foil to carry to picnic.
