1 | Kidney beans - rinsed, drained | |
1 | Carrot - thinly sliced | |
4 teaspoons | 20ml | Beef bouillon |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dried oregano - crushed |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Dried thyme - crushed |
4 | Bottled hot pepper sauce | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Macaroni |

Grated parmesan cheese |

In a 3-quart saucepan combine water, undrained tomatoes, beans, carrot, bouillon granules, oregano, thyme and hot pepper sauce. Bring to boiling. Add macaroni. Return to boiling; reduce heat. cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add meatballs. Return to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer about 5 minutes more, until meatballs are heated through. Sprinkle each serving with parmesan cheese, if desired.
