Meatball And Bean Soup

Recipe Ingredients

1   Tomatoes - (16 1/2 oz) - cut up
1   Kidney beans - rinsed, drained
1   Carrot - thinly sliced
4 teaspoons 20mlBeef bouillon
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlDried oregano - crushed
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlDried thyme - crushed
4   Bottled hot pepper sauce
1/2 cup 118mlMacaroni
24   Freezer Meatballs - thawed - see * Note
  Grated parmesan cheese

Recipe Instructions

In a 3-quart saucepan combine water, undrained tomatoes, beans, carrot, bouillon granules, oregano, thyme and hot pepper sauce. Bring to boiling. Add macaroni. Return to boiling; reduce heat. cover and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add meatballs. Return to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer about 5 minutes more, until meatballs are heated through. Sprinkle each serving with parmesan cheese, if desired.
